Pioneer SX-650 Fully Restored

Fully Restored Pioneer SX-650, all electrolytic capacitors across every board have been replaced with high-quality Nichicon, Panasonic, Kemet and  Wima capacitors, ensuring reliable operation and extended lifespan.  New warm white LED lamps provide nice glow to the vintage silverfaced receiver's dials and indicators. Every control has been meticulously cleaned with Deoxit to eliminate noise and ensure smooth, responsive operation.  Amplifier board has all new transistors including two new thermally coupled differential pairs. New larger 10,000 uf filter capacitors. Output SP-40W packs were removed cleaned and new thermal paste applied. The unit was tested for power output after restoration with 42 watts on the left channel and 39V on the right(see oscilloscope picture). So just over factory specifications of 35 watts after restoration!

The cabinet has walnut vinyl applied.   Brand new solid walnut cheeks adorn the faceplate that have been stained and sealed. New feet and new electrical cord/plug.
